Ambiciona el ‘Terremoto’ otro reinado
El peleador michoacano, Leo “Terremoto” Santa Cruz ya ha agregado a su colección personal tres títulos mundiales en distintas divisiones: Gallo, Supergallo y Pluma; sin embargo, aspira a agregar otros más.
“Espero subir a la división de los Superplumas”, anticipó el boxeador, en entrevista con ESPN Digital.
El próximo 27 de febrero, en el “Honda Center”, de Anaheim, California, enfrentará en lo que se espera sea una gran pelea, al duro español Kiko Martínez (35-6, 26 KO’s).
Se trata de la primera presentación del invicto pugilista de origen michoacano, desde su brillante triunfo de agosto de 2015, cuando se impuso a Abner Mares, para adjudicarse el cinturón Diamante del Consejo Mundial de Boxeo (CMB), mientras establecía su historial boxístico en 31 victorias, con sólo un empate y 17 rivales noqueados.
“Yo respeto a mis rivales, no subestimo a nadie y voy a estar bien preparado para esa pelea. Martínez es un boxeador peligroso, con buena pegada y que le gusta ponerle presión a sus rivales. Estoy seguro que será una gran pelea”.
